\u2013 14 January 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-medium\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"152\" src=\"https:\/\/test.osgodbyvillage.uk\/heritage\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2022\/02\/website-under-construction-300x152.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-469\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jan and Shirley had arranged to meet Tom (web site designer) at the Selby Garden Centre restaurant.&nbsp; &nbsp;Arriving before Tom, they decided to sit in one of the booth tables near the entrance and opposite the cold drink display cabinet.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coffee at the ready, and having caught up with if everyone had enjoyed the festive season, it was down to work.\u00a0 We were excited to see good progress and steps closer to a website presence.\u00a0 We concentrated on being shown around the site, although frustrated at the slow Wi-Fi connection.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Suddenly, there was an almighty bang and smashing of glass.&nbsp; Looking-up, no-one was near us, but there was glass shattered all over the floor, under our table, and a pool of liquid.&nbsp; &nbsp;It was a bit of a spooky going-on as we did not see how this had happened.&nbsp; Perhaps the old tales of ghosts in the village were true after all!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the Garden Gate Restaurant staff popped-up and asked if we were OK.&nbsp; It would appear she had taken a bottle from her side of the counter and this had dislodged bottles on the front and caused one to smash to the floor!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We spent the next five minutes pointing out where the glass splinters were, and confess to sitting and watching the restaurant staff clear up the mess, and advising new people entering to be careful.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back to the job in hand!
