We are looking forward to John Lee returning to Osgodby after his very interesting talk on Knights Templar way back in 2019 to a large audience. At that talk, there was “controversy” and lots of loud debate about if Knights Templars still existed! Hopefully, 20 March will be just as stimulating (without the loud debate!).
His talk is “Using Maps for Local and Family History” John has been given access to the Osgodby Estate, Tithe and OS maps we have, so hopefully he will be putting a very local slant on the talk. We have shared the event with all colleagues in other local groups and we hope they will come along to this free event, as well as local residents.
