The small Group co-ordinating the Osgodby Feast are having a busy week. We’re still unsure how many display boards we will have access to, but never mind we’ll just have to adjust. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the weather will be good, as it’s not looking very bright at the time of writing!

The list of things to do seems to be growing not getting less. There was a major disaster mid-week, the external hard drive disk became corrupted and a swift visit to the friendly local computer expert said that things were not looking good. The work that had been put on the in last few days had not had a back-up made, so it’s back to “square one” with some of the things we are pulling together for the display.

The boxes in Shirley’s living room are mutiplying – table cloths, napkins, bunting, children’s prizes for the games.

So, it will be a last-minute check with the stallholders, the roundabout man, circus skills, health and safety check on site, and we’ll be good to go.

We bet it wasn’t like this in 1302!! The Osgodby Market and Fair is back!

Busy busy week …….. and a disaster
